Christmas Holiday!!
I arrived safely in Colorado Springs on Tuesday. As you look to the west you will see the Rocky Mountains. Particularly Pikes Peak, and Cheyenne Mountain. ... Ah... beautiful mountains.

Christmas 2007 Kickoff!!
I think it was decided that the best part of this visit was the maze. It was fun!! In the middle there is a lookout - type thing, and then to get out, you go through a tunnel that is under the lookout.
After we were done at the castle we made our way to Rochester, England for the Charles Dickens Festival. It was very crowded, and there were some interesting things to look at.
This guy stood on a ladder, hanging on to a lamp post, he started singing, then threw little gold coins(probably chocolate) out into the crowd.
This is how crowded it was, the picture actually makes it look better than it was. And a picture of a Cathedral.

Rest in peace Grandpa Woodbury...
Today was a day of sadness, and rejoicing. Grandpa Woodbury passed away. He was a man that I looked up to, respected, and strived to be like. I look forward to that time that I will see him again.
People do not die for us immediately, but remain bathed in a sort of aura of life which bears no relation to true immortality but through which they continue to occupy our thoughts in the same way as when they were alive. It is as though they were traveling abroad. ~Marcel Proust
May the Lord watch over and bless my dear Grandma Woodbury.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.

They TOLD me they weren't going to hit me that hard - they lied.
(For those of you who don't know... this is the traditional way of getting your stripes pinned on)
