Yea!! Sunday!!

Today was a very fun day!! I went to a Denver Broncos Game!! Its the first one I have ever been to. And it was great! The Broncos were playing the Minnisota Vikings.

There were guys covered with pom-poms. And we even had a little tailgate party. Gerald did great at cooking the Brat-burgers. Yummy!!

We had great seats. 7th row from the front.

This was the most action that we got to see up close. It resulted in a safety.

Thanks Gerald and Jess for driving and making it a great experience. And a big thanks to Marty and Dad for the tickets (they gave them to us for Christmas!!).

Christmas Holiday!!

I arrived safely in Colorado Springs on Tuesday. As you look to the west you will see the Rocky Mountains. Particularly Pikes Peak, and Cheyenne Mountain. ... Ah... beautiful mountains.

Last night i got spend over at Jessica's house. They introduced me to the Wii. It is pretty fun. Here are some pictures of Antonio and Ethan playing baseball.
Dad is gracious enough to put me up for my visit here. I get to stay in the 'Rose Room'. Very Luxerious... is there breakfast in bed too??

Christmas 2007 Kickoff!!

Hello everyone!!

I finally got a great opportunity to do some things this weekend. The Ingrams(a great family from church) invited me to go along with them. Thanks Guys!!

So we were driving to the castle and this guy pulls up beside us... any thoughts??(thanks for being so quick with the camera, Mary)

We made it to Leeds Castle.

It was a beautiful morning for visiting the castle.

A bedroom, and a dining room....

I think it was decided that the best part of this visit was the maze. It was fun!! In the middle there is a lookout - type thing, and then to get out, you go through a tunnel that is under the lookout.

At Leeds Castle there was a nice play area. It was hard to resist playing...

After we were done at the castle we made our way to Rochester, England for the Charles Dickens Festival. It was very crowded, and there were some interesting things to look at.

This guy stood on a ladder, hanging on to a lamp post, he started singing, then threw little gold coins(probably chocolate) out into the crowd.

This is how crowded it was, the picture actually makes it look better than it was. And a picture of a Cathedral.

And I took a new picture this week - notice the 3rd stripe... and the 2 new decorations!!

Rest in peace Grandpa Woodbury...

Today was a day of sadness, and rejoicing. Grandpa Woodbury passed away. He was a man that I looked up to, respected, and strived to be like. I look forward to that time that I will see him again.

People do not die for us immediately, but remain bathed in a sort of aura of life which bears no relation to true immortality but through which they continue to occupy our thoughts in the same way as when they were alive. It is as though they were traveling abroad. ~Marcel Proust

May the Lord watch over and bless my dear Grandma Woodbury.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

An interesting week.

This week we had a base-wide exercise. I got to be part of the group that got to put on make up and act as casualty victims. It was pretty fun - but it was also very cold.
Our typical day would start at 6 A.M. Then we would find out what scenerios we would be assigned to. But if we weren't assigned to one - then we would have to stay in the room all day anyway. So we would put movies on the big screen.

I only got to take one picture of what some of the makeup looked like - it was taken by my cell phone.

And as for how my retraining is going...
I found out this week what job I will most likely get.
On all of the forms that I have to fill out have me going into the 1N111 career field. That is the Imagry Analysis career field. Which was the one I was going for. So, the next few weeks should be very exciting - about finding out when the classes start, and waiting on a security clearance..
I'll be sure to keep you all up-to-date.

Me?? A Promotion??

Yes!! Finally - after being in the USAF for 2 and a half years - I am getting promoted.

I get to put on my Senior Airman stripe on the 15th!! Yeah!! Go Me!!

Tradition!! Tradition!

They TOLD me they weren't going to hit me that hard - they lied.

(For those of you who don't know... this is the traditional way of getting your stripes pinned on)

And... just a normal picture - after church.
