A little October fun!!

The week after General Conference - in sacrament meeting - they announced in our ward that the Stake was putting on this Restoration Pageant. I was going to be put on within the next few weeks, and they wanted people to get tickets. So, I just wanted to see if i could be in the choir. I got word that I couldn't - there was to much music to learn. I said I wanted to help out anyway that I could. I got a call to stand in as Willard Richards in the Carthage Jail. That was pretty fun.

The choir was wonderful!

The Three Witnesses sang a song - with Joseph(our Stake President)
translating the Book of Mormon in the back.

One of the times that the cast and choir sang together.

The night before the pageant was going to be put on - we took look at the lighting situation. All of the lights we situated to be placed on the Choir. Thinking that that would be too much lighting on them we convinced the director to allow us to re-position the lights as to have some of them act as spot lights on the stage. We fixed it as best as we could - and now we just needed to find some one to operate the light dimmers. So I volunteered. So, I got to sit out and watch most of the pageant and operate alot of the lighting.

I know I should have taken longer clips - sorry - I'll remember that for next time.

2 Weeks or reintegration - OVER!?!

Well, to be totally honest with you when I got back from Qatar, I had evey intention to go sightseeing.

But that didn't quite workout the way I planned.

I managed to get out to a movie(The Bourne Ultimatum), and start going to Institute.

And then Friday night was the Stake Ball. There were only a handful of us Young Single Adults that showed up. But courtesy of some of the ladies, there are some photos to share.

Hello There!!

I finally got back home... and I am glad to be back.

I started my journey home on the 23rd. We were suppose to leave early that morning, but then got delayed and didn't leave until about 7-8. I got to visit Germany. I stayed a night at Ramstein. That is a nice place. With hills... and pine trees.... it looked like a great place to go camping. The next morning... the 24th.... I caught a ride to Frankfurt to fly to England. Didn't get into England until 1130.

Being deployed has definately been a great experience. Here are a few pictures from my fun....
